Nov. 1st, 2017 01:57 pmWent over to Eldest Nephews place for dinner and then we shadowed the Kidlet on her candy obtaining rounds. It wasnt raining, it wasnt cold, it was a perfect night to trick or treat. She made a good haul too. She was the Mad Hatter from Alice, and was really cute. I gave a holiday bag and I had to include a couple of things I had meant to put in her Xmas bag, she is growing so fast the clothes wouldnt have fit her by then.
Today, November first. I have a book signing tonight, and pretty much the rest of yesterdays errands. I have to swing by the VAMC to get the rest of my meds on my way to the book signing.
The VAMC woke me up this morning... to call and let me know the kerfluffle on the non payment of my mammogram at OHSU was their fault, the VA claims that they put in the wrong coding and thus, payment was denied. I find it interesting that of course the VAMC wasnt in the wrong, but.. you would think that with a special coordinator for mammograms at the VAMC and a counterpart at OHSU that somehow OHSU got the treatment codes wrong. Yeah, right.
