Dec. 7th, 2017

The Damnable Cat wasnt well on Tuesday, so off we went to see his most hated person in the world, his Vet. After gassing him, and taking all sorts of bodily fluids and whatnot (and clipping his nails since he was napping) it seems that he is developing an allergy to his food. So, I have bland food for him from the vet and some kind of kitty cat food sprinkle to encourage him to eat it.

That and refilling all the bird feeders was my Tuesday.

I think I was tired, because I couldnt get out of bed today, despite having clear skies and sunlight. I did gather up my pop bottle recycle and took a few things out of the van and the garage.

The State of Oregon is becoming a bully about forcing people to use the state run bottle drops. I normally do my recycle at Market of Choice because it is neat and clean, open after 6pm and not crowded at all when I go. Because of the States new rules, they can only redeem 24 items per person per day. Thats 2.40. At the local Wallyworld grocery their rule is they will take 144 items per day, but you can only redeem the cash that day, otherwise its gone. I appreciate our recycle rules here, and yes, they are expanding the number of items that will now have deposits on them in January, but, to force everyone to the Bottle Drops isnt at all friendly. I know they want folks to sign up for the card to have your refunds posted to it by you buying and using their bags and tags to drop off your items, rather than doing the recycle yourself. I find it invasive and that the State can track your "income" from recycle if they chose too. Why yes, I am paranoid.

I also played phone tag with the VAMC Dental peeps about my outsourced dental care and I called and left a long detailed msg with the civvie dentist I am currently seeing.

I hope to get yard time on Thursday. That would be nice.
