(no subject)

the long weekend was a bit of a blur, I did get my sunday paper on Saturday, I filled up the gas tank on the Focus before the storms hit, I did find the right special light bulbs for the sconces in the cats bathroom (twice actually, I got both clear and frosted), hit Costco for a resupply, returned phone calls.... uh, Family Birthday Dinner on Sunday went well, cards and gifts were appreicated... yes, they may not understand them, but they like them.. grin. Monday I did all the birdfeeders and then some, splashing out with more suet cakes and black sunflower seeds than usual. The little finches were swarming the suet cakes when I came back in. It took me twice as long to do the bird stuff because I still had a crust of ice and snow on the grass in my yard, and I didnt want to slip and faceplant. Oh, and what plants I did obtain before the storms were placed in the little plastic greenhouse for their safety.

Today, I got up way to early to meet up with T at the Clackamas Chezcake Factory. It was snowing the huge fluffy flakes when I left my house, but they werent sticking. I not sure if I have become sensitive to the food there, or that particular site isnt good, but as I was walking out to the Van, I had such a surge of reflux, I thought I was going to hork. I blew off the rest of my normal Tuesday stuff because of that and the worsening weather. Came home and tried to nap a bit, and no sooner than I got to dozing then the Damn Cat took it upon himself to throw up in the bathroom. Lovely.

More snow tonight, but it should start warming up a tiny bit and be out of the freezing temps at night in a couple of days.
