Jul. 4th, 2018

Monday was a day that got complicated, I was the only adult on our street and one of the neighbor kids was home alone, and the kid got a rash. Their parent called me and I responded by going over and doing the triage thing, took pictures of said rash and texted to the parent, administed meds per parents instructions. It was an allergic reaction.

Just as I was getting my already delayed act together, my Eldest Niece called, she and her hubby had gone on a ride on his motorcycle and they did the "hit a pothole and bend the rim and flatten the tire" routine. In Sandy. I located my sister and we headed out, we met up with them at Calamity Janes, so while he took the van to go to a parts store to get tire inflating stuff, we ate while we were there. He got the tire to hold air and then Eldest Niece, my sister and I then headed towards Woodburn. We took our time. We also did a couple of her errands on the way to her house.

I got home past ten pm.

Today, Big Brother woke me up to deal with electronic paperwork, and then I was trying to leave the house to do yesterdays and todays errands, when he texted me again, there was one more bit to get done.

I should have taken the faulty start as a sign, but, no one seemed to know how to drive today, the concept of lanes and stop signs was more than they could manage. At the Mall, I was walking to a store and some (curses deleted) woman with her baby trike ran into the back of my leg and foot, running over my ankle and sandal. I originally thought she had busted the strap, I was tired, I was in pain and yes, I was very cranky. I left to go to a shoe store nearby because I couldnt walk with a floppy shoe. turns out it was only the velcro bit, and the guy at the store fixed it for me, and I did find a replacement set of sandals while I was there. I also went to Target, and then to Costco to get the ingrediants for my share of the pickic stuff for the 4th.

Called the sister and we agreed to meet at Ingrids in downtown Oregon City. I got there first, and they dont work on tuesdays, the korean place was open, the two spots share a kitchen, so I checked with the sister and that was fine with her, so I got to order a bulgogi bowl, and the guy tells me that they have no rice. That was it for me.... we went to the Wild Hare instead and I did make one last stop at Safeway because Costco had run out of potato chips.

Once I got home, I turned the sprinklers on despite it being after sunset...
