Aug. 31st, 2018 12:15 pmWednesday was a bit of yard time, I hadnt slept well and was late getting up. Some cleanup was done, feed the birds and picked tomatoes and grapes. Watered.
Thursday was more work outside, got pots replanted and some more cleanup. Nailed spare bits of wood to fence posts to retain fence integrity (the damn sections are starting to come loose from the posts) and got trash ready for pickup. Chatted with neighbors.
Monkey Girl called me to let me know she was passing through town, so I closed up early and picked up the sister creature and we met her and her friend at Dead Lobster. I am not really impressed with them, they were out of marinara sauce, out of lots of things, and everything that contained bell peppers was all prepacked items that they couldnt adjust because of my allergy.
I had made a quick stop at Home Despot enroute to Dead Lobster (I had some time to kill before we met up) and found they had their Halloween stuff out, I got me two T Rex skellies and some glow in the dark spray paint, cuz they are really Godzillasauras and to be accurate to the 1954 movie, after Big G got hit by the oxygen destroyer, his bones sunk to the bottom of the sea. Being radioactively motivated, I need to make sure the bones glow. The skellies are the size of a large dog, so they arent HUGE.
Today, not sure what I will do, I would like to go to IKEA to look for a bathroom shelf thingie.
