(no subject)

New Book Tuesday was broken up by my VAMC dental appt. Plus trying to find out what happened to my consult for the sleep apnea mouthpiece. Lets just say, I spent an hour working on that particular issue, but, there might be an actual resolution to the issue that most of the doctors at the VAMC dont know how to write a consult! No one was injured or arrested. It comes down to when a consult is written badly, its allowed to die by expiration with no action taken whatsoever to correct it. No one does anything in the hope that the veteran will forget it was written. Which is why I write stuff in my calendar so I dont forget. I also found out that the VA Dental does make those, after being told that they dont... or as it was explained to me the doctor misunderstood that a vet was turned down for one... because they didnt qualify for it.. as, we dont make them (for the non quals) and the doc only heard part of it. Thats their story and they sticking with it. But, whatever, as long as I get it made by someone who knows their job, I dont care if its the VA or the civvie dentist, I just want it done.

So, to bring down my BP, I indulged in a wandering path home, indulging in shopping therapy. I now have all the Funko POP! figures for Little Shop of Horrors, which makes me very happy. And Halloween themed skivvies (yeah, TMI, but they make me happy). new books were of course, obtained. I will admit to torturing B&N Nook help at the store (and eventually they called the Nook help desk) to solve a problem with an ebook that would only give me 32 pages of the novel. I had contacted the author directly, and she was working on her end of the deal. I was told by B&N it would take two weeks to fix correctly. sigh.

Today, slow getting up, but I will get outside and get me some yard time.
