They didnt pick up the trash friday, which threw off my mental list of what I was going to do for the day. Now I cant remember either. I did talk to the Glass Folks, I take the Van in on Monday to get the window replaced. I need to get the rest of the glass out of the window before I drive off, dont want to be leaking glass chips all the way there.

They picked up the trash Saturday, I wasnt very productive, I did pick up a few things inside, found the rest of my missing mail, paid bills and adulted. Talked to my Wicked Evil Stepmom, she got the two books I mailed her. With her health issues this year, she is off her physical game as it were, so she isnt getting out much. I know her reading preferences, and I picked up two paperbacks for her, the JD Robb and the Nalini Singh. She has problems with hardbacks and can read trades, but, prefers the regular paperbacks due to the arthritis. She was pleased with my offerings, and thats what counts. Went to Staples to get more printer paper, I ran out of the three hole paper, I like to print out academic articles and keep them in a binder, and I find that this is more efficient for me if I have the right paper to begin with, and I dont end up with paper all over because I cant find the three hole punch.

Today is the 31st anniversary of my cousin S's death. Black ice is a bitch. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of her, she was 3.5 years older than me to the day, her birthday was new years eve, so that was another reminder. She would have been one kick ass little old lady for sure. When being asked if I ever had any concussions, I do remember when she clocked me in the head with my own baseball bat, which does explain so much. Grin. I just miss her.

Today, unload the dishwasher, and take out more trash. See if I still have trash bins for that matter, we had high winds come through last night just around ten pm, because it knocked out my cable a few times, causing me to miss the wedding and the murder in the new PBS program of Shakespeare and Hathaway. It sounded like a freight train ran over the house, and then circled it a couple of times. I kept my lights and the power was stable after that, but the computer was a tad bit reluctant to restart today. I still have to go through and check the clocks in the microwave and the stove to see if they need resetting.
