May. 2nd, 2019 04:10 amI had yard time today, I got about 40 plants planted... and a whole lot more to go, its the fillers and baskets and pots, so they are small but mighty. Dumped at least five buckets of dirt behind the fence, and had to totally dump several pots because they were rootbound by grass and weeds. Up potting the things I got for Ru, I will try and find out when she has an OHSU appt or if going down to Salem to meet up would work.
I am up to four mallards now landing in my feeding zone in the lot next door. the lone female just plopped down and gulped all the seed and corn she could reach, her male fended off the other two drakes so she could eat in peace. the bunny was back and the squirrels... lots of quail and doves, and the red winged blackbirds were in force.
Lots of smaller birdies, which was delightful to watch as they flitted from one feeder to another.
Tomorrow, some more yard time, I have a couple of calls to make first, but, I want to keep up the momentum outside. I still have to replace one raised bed because it rotted this winter, and weed the entire garden area. I cant seem to find the pathway there.
Friday my Wicked Evil Stepmom will be down for the angiogram and the vein mapping. Fingers crossed.
