Mar. 21st, 2020 12:26 amI went up to the VAMC today for my monthly B12 shot. This will be my last one for the duration, and my doc wants me to take the B12 pills, which dont work well enough normally for now.
They had triage in the Atrium entrance, and you were only allowed in if you had business there, and you could have a plus one, but they had to stay in the atrium waiting area. they have a white party tent set up on one side of the atrium, just in case as it were.
I got my (mostly) 90 day supply of meds, and have temporarily taken off the DO NOT MAIL on my account. I also got their printed sheet about reordering meds.
You can tell they are waiting for the storm to hit there, as it were.
My sister went with me today, and we stopped at a couple of grocery stores, we can only get some things at each one, it would be nice if all the prefered things were in one place, but, thats never going to happen.
There is a new CVS drug store at 17th and Tacoma, and they have been open for a bit over two weeks now, and they had single rolls of toilet tissue for sale, and its one per person. Sister and I were more thrilled about the retractable back skratchers, I got one with a bird foot and one paw print, and one rake. In purple of course!
This is probably our last outing unless forced to, I did pick up some more kitty litter, since I scooped the Resident Evil's box yesterday, and one of the containers that I thought was full, wasnt. So, that had to be addressed.
Oh, and people, not stopping at stop signs and lights doesnt mean you will avoid the virus.. really.
