Apr. 9th, 2020 01:57 amI made an effort today to get something done, so I pulled my tricycle out of the garage, then emptied the contents of the van into the space the trike had been in, then loaded it up and took it off to the bike shop for maintenance, to get the tires back on the rims and air inserted, and then I asked them to trick it out a bit, and get me a proper 50's style headlight, and I wanted rear lights and reflectors, also a horn and a wireless odometer. they say it will be about a week.
Note,my day starts late, and the bike shop closed at 5pm, I did make it there on time as it were. Then I went to Coastal Farm and Ranch to pick up bird supplies, and they closed at 5.30pm. since the van was empty, I went to Home Despot to stock up on cow poo, bark dust, some more plants and other assorted crap, I will say I did pretty good because they closed at 6pm. Due to that particular thing, I forgot one thing I was going for and couldnt get the other two items because they were on the other side of the very large box.
I give kudos to the employees who checked me out and then got my stuff to the van, and loaded it up for me.
I pretty much slid into each store to barely get my items.
Tomorrow, I unload said van. I also picked up extra cow poo for my neighbor so he didnt have to go.
I am still processing that John Prine died, I bought his albums when I had a paycheck, and his words have always touched my soul, what a loss to the world. Along with everyone else who has died because of this virus.
