(no subject)

Today was a bit cooler than yesterday, but it was nice. Pulled all the pots out of the front flower bed to clean up and replant if needed. Pulled a lot of fake geranium as I was trying to free the pots, I will go back and clean up the front bed when I have all the pots redone, I figure the more I get planted in whatever place or container, its out of the way, and then they can get to growing. Hauled debris behind the fence when I had full buckets, and gave my neighbor B some bags of cow poo, the man is wonderful in mowing my lawn for me with his own mower and gas, so its a small thing to pay him back. I also loaned him my chain saw again because the across the street neighbor is taking limbs off one of the trees in her front yard because the squirrels were using it as a highway to her house.. and nothing like a little squirrel and enter to make your day.

I am almost out of bird seed (except for finch food) I figure when I foray out on Tuesday I will get more bags. The ducks I think are what is sucking it up the most, when I go out to put more seed down, its hovered right to the dirt in areas.

I got several pots cleaned up and replanted, and did a couple more pots with stuff for the garden, I need to finish cleaning up around the raised beds and put down new bark dust (which I now have 12 bags of) before I can place the pots in situ. I did get string to tie up the pea starts, so I need to do that too.

this streak of no rain is nice.. very nice, and I love being able to get out in the yard, the dry part however makes it harder to pull out weeds and grass..
