Jun. 11th, 2020 02:56 amThe weather keeps behaving like its March here...
Protests continue in Portland and the rest of the world.
I have been focused on the yard even more, and today I finally dug out part of the flower bed under my bedroom window including removing a very large rock wedged up against the foundation (which is now at my neighbors house for his rock embankment) and planted the black lily, a tree peony and a purple hebe that have all lived in pots for at least two years... that took five bags of poo to fill in. When I was digging I took out at least 10 buckets of old dirt. I am hoping that this will solve why I cant grow much in that spot.
Got a few more pots planted up, and went through one water tray to see if there were any viable plants left in their little pots. I got some cosmos and something else tall planted by the back fence, thats only about two feet worth of that particular flower bed, still a long way to go there. Pulled more weeds, dug out more grass, ate two strawberries growing wild by the side of the garage.
One last day of sunshine and the rains will be back again, but, there is lots to do inside, and reading that I need to finish up.
