Jan. 11th, 2025 11:54 amOn the 7th I went to solar power as my main source of electrons. I havent tracked the usage yet on their handy dandy guide.
I measured where my new fridge will go, its going to be a very very tight fit. Its 71 inches and 1/16th and my spot is 71 inches and 1/4 . Looking for the magical shoehorn here. But, I wont find out until 14 february, having ice and water in the door I think will help me a lot, and looking forwards to the new microwave since my old one died last year. The new m/w is a very fancy thing with capabilities of convection and an air fryer. Both are black stainless steel.
Still learning the new phone, I got most everything deleted or turned off that doesnt apply to just being a phone. The annoying gif/emoji thing that launches when I open some emails (its preprogramed for dates or words from what I can tell) I cannot find to kill, so I may have to go back to the store to ask how to do it.
Replaced my cracked windshield yesterday. Its so clean!
The year started out with getting a phone call from an old and dear Navy friend that her husband had passed away, he was a friend too, one of the Marines who guarded our base, which is how they met. I was hoping to avoid death of people I care about this year, but it doesnt seem to be working either.
I have just about finished my list of things to do before You Kmow Who takes office and screws us all, and bunkering down.
My reading has picked up a bit, and I am happy about that.
