Getting a bit caught up with things, but still have a couple of birthday cards to send.
Today it wasnt raining, hailing, snowing or plagues of (fill in the blank), so i got about an hour in outside, and redid the bases under two of my bird feeding stations. The burrowers undermine the pavers which cause the station to tilt and whirl and fall over. So, I got the gravely stuff for paver setting, and set to work. I had a rapt audience from the chickadees, they were lounging on tree branches and the fence just waiting for me to get the work done and the bird feeders themselves back into position. I kept a very close eye on them, they looked pretty darn hungry and they were feeding as a small flock.
Got the final Dan Rhodes mystery by Bill Crider in the mail today, I hadnt expected one last mystery since Bill died last year, but, its bittersweet.
