martianmooncrabnew fridge is to be delivered and installed on monday. weee... water and ice in the door!
still slowly cleaning, have the trashbin almost full again. I keep washing things in the kitchen, since I really havent cooked or cleaned out there in way too long.... my dishwasher has done more loads in the last two weeks than in the past two years I think. Still throwing out a lot of stuff, I can just replace it as I go along in the food categories, and some items dont even have expiration dates on them that I can find.
Letting go of some items is hard, and I struggle with it. I have many pretty things I want to use and display rather than leaving them in a box or a bag and tucked away. My love of kitchen gadgets and tools is very much a problem on that front. I dont have that more storage space in my tiny pantry, and some things are awkward to store. I found the food slicer I got last year, I do want to use that ... lots of things I want to use now that I see them again. Like the ice cream attachment for my Kitchen Aid.
Tomorrow would have been my friend T's 71st birthday. We would always go to Red Lobster for her birthday observance.
