Jun. 7th, 2018 03:18 amJune 6th was the date of the D Day invasions, that was 74 years ago, and its fallen off the history of the world... I saw no mention of the date on todays news. As that fades away, so does the generation that fought that war.
Talked stats today with my neighbor, he is a Vietnam Vet, he did two tours incountry. He told me that out of all the VN Vets (that had been incountry) less than a third are still alive, and the youngest is 62. I was close, I thought the youngest serving person would have been 60.
Got more things planted today and hooked up the sprinkler for the front yard. Tomorrow, hope to do the same.
