May. 11th, 2019 12:06 amThursday we transported our Stepmom to her appt, we actually had a clear run up I5 and back to PDX. Washington State Police were doing a traffic enforcement and they even were using an unmarked SUV to stop folks. I think thats kinda embarassing, being pulled over by an unmarked SUV.
Stepmommy cleared her preop screen, she goes in monday for her vascular bypass to try and restore blood flow in her right leg. fingers crossed on this one. Split the return drive with my brother and his wife, which was a good thing, because I was exhausted from getting up WAY EARLY to do the first leg as it were. I pointed out to my Stepmom that this was like when we were kids, and she had to be there for the kid handover. We just updated it a bit. grin.
Today was my own stuff and some paperwork for Monkey Boy, that is never ending.
Tomorrow, visit with a friend who is selling off some of her books to make room... I am always open to rehoming books.
