My Wicked Evil Stepmom had her surgery and is now in a skilled nursing facility and getting better to come home again.
I had to replace the master brake cylinder in the Focus, dont know how that happened, it hasnt been driven since Eldest Nephew gave it back to me months ago. But, its good now.
Got to visit with my friend P up at her place and buy some books from her since she is downsizing a bit. My sister bought more than I did.. We also at at the local mexican eatery and it was a lot of food. It was a nice drive on a good weather day.
I havent had as much yard time as I had hoped but I do expect to spend the next two days outside.
The Resident Evil Feline had a V-E-T appt friday, and I have drugs for him ... I still think they will have to gas him to get any work done other than laughing at his death threats.
Due to all that was going on, I never made it up to the VA Cemetery to check Daddys gravesite before Memorial Day, and right now they are putting flags on all the markers, so if there is something amiss, Big Brother will inform me of it and then I will get it fixed.
Been finding stuff to read, and so far, the newest RCN novel, its a bridging book .. no Leary in it, but I think that will collide in the next one. A mystery set in a gaming store, its a nerdfest .. and I am loving that a gamer owns a store .. the ususal assortment of my shifter books (hey, its brain candy!) and I am parsing through Reza Aslans book on how we created God in our own image.
Did a couple of signings and an Egypt lecture, and frankly, I am sleeping it and trying to ignore reality for a bit. My emotional tank is on empty and needs some quiet to refill.
